This annual event celebrates exceptional high school students who are shaping the future through creativity, technology, and purpose-driven innovation, values that align deeply with who we are at Ample Ace.

Winner of the 2025 Ample Ace Innovation in Technology Award: Daisy Zhang

We are proud to announce Daisy Zhang as this year’s recipient of the Ample Ace Holdings Ltd Innovation in Technology Award.

Daisy impressed the judges with her innovative, sustainability-focused engineering projects, including:

  • Designing sustainable wooden structures and a disc golf course for Heart Lake Conservation Park

  • Creating bench designs with integrated bike storage using Miroboard and SketchUp

  • Building Bin to Bite, a website that helps reduce food waste by maximizing ingredient use

  • Prototyping compact vertical garden planter kits for urban homes

She has also been actively involved in robotics, eco-club programs, conservation park engineering initiatives, and the GEM mentorship program.

Daisy is now enrolled in Mechatronics Engineering at the University of Waterloo, continuing her path toward becoming a future leader in technology and sustainability.
